The Kenyan unit of currency is the Shilling (Sh), which is divided into 100 cents (c). Banknotes of 20, 50, 100, 500 and 1,000 Sh. The only coins are 10, 5, 1 and 1/2 Sh (50 c). Do not change money in the street.
